18K white gold solitaire with old cut diamond (0.45ct approx.), 1940s

I fell madly in love with this solitaire right from the start, as it is simply perfect in every aspect!
I would like to start with the setting, made entirely of 18K white gold: the central part that holds the diamond has been modeled in such a way as to give it the shape of a six-pointed star, interspersed with four solid prongs.
The whole holds a beautiful diamond, which we can see at 360 degrees thanks to the setting.
Old mine cut is estimated to be 0.45ct approx.
The stem, fine and thin, is the perfect element that closes this unique solitaire.
