This important antique ring is characterized by the particular setting, which gives the ring an oval and horizontally elongated shape.
The large central stone that decorates the ring is a synthetic sapphire, characterized by this deep blue / azure and oval cut.
The sapphire is inserted in a frame entirely worked and decorated with fretwork elements and round inserts, each with a rosette-cut diamond, for a total of 6 (one on each side and two on the upper part and two on the lower part); the shoulders are also decorated with floral elements.
The whole frame and stem are made of 18K white gold and the ring dates back to the 1920s / 1930s.
