Pair of antique rings in 18K gold with black stones, early 1900s

It is very difficult to find pairs of rings, especially one identical to the other; and when it happens, they absolutely cannot be divided!

This pair is made up of rings dating back to the early 1900s, therefore ancient, and each one has been worked along the lines of a faith: the whole circumference in fact has the same type of decoration that is repeated, and in this case it is really interesting.
Entirely in 18K yellow gold, in some places some hollows have been carved into which black stones have been inserted, which thus take the shape of the hollowed out cavity.
The final aspect is really gorgeous, as we find this yellow surface with some flashes of black color, thus going in total context with each other; and even to the touch the result is really satisfying.

It is important to underline that, even if it happens rarely, it is not always possible to understand exactly the type of material a jewel is made of; in this case it is not possible to test the black stones that decorate the two rings, but from the appearance it seems to be onyx.

Given the age and the fact that they are handcrafted jewels (and not in series), our antique and vintage jewels are often not perfect and may show normal signs of surface wear and / or small imperfections, possibly present both on the parts in gold than on stones.
But this is precisely what makes each piece special and unique!
