How to find your ring size

Measure a ring that fits or measure your finger. Follow the instructions and compare your measurement with the size chart.

Method 01 · With a ring

Measure the inside diameter

You need a ring and a ruler marked in millimetres.

Choose a ring that fits the same finger and hand on which you will wear the new ring.
Lay it flat. Measure from one inside edge to the other through the centre, excluding the metal itself.
Write down the diameter in millimetres. For example, 1.65 cm is 16.5 mm. Repeat the measurement to check it.

Wrap the paper and mark where it meets. Then lay it flat and measure up to the mark.

Method 02 · With your finger

Measure the circumference

You need a strip of paper, a pen and a ruler.

Wrap a narrow strip of paper around the base of your finger without pulling it tight. Mark where the ends meet.
Check that the strip can also pass over your knuckle. Lay it flat and measure the length up to the mark.
Write down the length in millimetres: this is the circumference. For example, 5.2 cm is 52 mm. Repeat the measurement to check it.

Paper gives an estimate. For a more precise check, ask a jeweller to measure your finger with a ring sizer.

Every finger is different

Do not use the size of another finger or hand. Avoid measuring when your hands are very cold or swollen.

Between sizes? Ask us

Fit also depends on the shape of the ring and the width of the band. A home measurement may not be enough to decide.

Start with a ring belonging to the recipient, provided it is worn on the intended finger. If you are unsure, contact us before buying.
