9K gold ring with green tourmaline and white stones, 1960s

This ring I would call a bit of a successor to the cocktail rings; just by looking at it you can in fact understand why!
At the center we find a beautiful and above all important tourmaline, with an oval cut and a rather dazzling aqua green; it is held by six prongs that come from a high and very open frame, which thus manages to make a stone that is already showy stand out even more.
On each shoulder we find three white stones imitations of diamonds, held by white gold that create a nice gap between the center of the ring and the rest of the stem.
