This important ring is made with a rather rounded shape, and is entirely covered with a pavé of diamonds.
This particular frame owes its name to the French word "pavement", which in Italian means "floor". As the term itself suggests, this technique consists in placing many small diamonds side by side, with practically no space between them (only the small griffes that hold them), in such a way as to create an effect (in fact) "On the floor"; the illusion that is created is thus to have the ring decorated with a continuous and uninterrupted line of these beautiful stones, allowing it to shine in an extraordinary way.
The diamonds in this ring are really many and very difficult to count all, but they are certainly more than a hundred, for a total of at least 1ct.
The ring, as mentioned, has a rounded shape, while the back of the ring has a rather thin stem, in such a way as to leave the front part in the foreground.
A beautiful and further decorative element is the openwork decoration that we find on the back of the front, giving further beauty to this jewel.
The setting is made entirely of 14K white gold, in order to make the hundreds of diamonds stand out even more, and dates back to the 1980s.
