Solitaire ring in 18K gold with citrine quartz, 1960s

I want to warn anyone who will make this ring theirs: once you put it on you will never want to take it off because it will become the everyday ring and it will look good with everything!

Its setting is entirely in 18K yellow gold: with a fairly thick stem, this reaches the center of the ring pushing very high, to equal the height of the six prongs that hold the stone.
The latter is a beautiful citrine quartz of oval cut, of an orange that contains lighter shades (reminiscent of a fire) and darker shades, tending to brown.
