Vintage 14K white gold daisy ring with fire opal (approx. 2.50ct) and diamonds (approx. 0.70ctw), 1970s

This ring is sure to make some mouths open and some eyes pop.
At first glance I think you could think of any stone except what it really is: the one we find at the center of this ring is in fact a beautiful, incredible and proud fire opal.

The name already says it all: the stone is in fact crossed by a very intense orange, with some red nuances here and there, giving the illusion that it is really a fire that, as soon as you touch it, can really burn you.
The opal is oval cut and estimated at approx 2.50ct.

The outline is instead in total contrast, since it is made of brilliant-cut diamonds, which give more a sense of freshness and frost; they are all brilliant cut and for an estimated total of approx. 0.70ct.

The frame that holds the whole is particularly classic and simple, made with various jaws and with a height that is neither too low nor too high; the stem is thick enough to hold the whole ring.
The whole is in 14K white gold.
