Vintage 18K white gold daisy ring with central emerald (approx.1.5ct) and diamonds (over 1.5ct), 1950s

And even today I'll show you another daisy ring, this time with a central emerald.
It is a more recent example of this classic of jewelry (vintage, 50s), and it is therefore interesting to note the evolution and differences between one and the other.
First of all, the setting, which determines the shape of the ring, is more essential, to give free space to the diamonds.
Another element of difference lies precisely in the diamonds surrounding the central stone (these for a total of over 1.5ct), and specifically in the cut: in fact, here we have a crown of brilliant-cut diamonds, another clear sign of the greater youth of this ring. .
The central stone, a rectangular cut emerald of approx.1.5 ct, also represents a bit of a novelty, being that sapphires were more favored (although we find examples of daisy rings with emeralds).
Finally we have the presence of white gold (here 18K), which in the very first years of the twentieth century was obviously not yet used (since the alloy had not yet been discovered - which will only happen after the First World War).

Be that as it may, it is always and in any case an elegant ring, simple but at the same time that stands out.
In short, a timeless classic of jewelry that will never tire.
