Vintage 14K gold ring with blue synthetic spinel, 60s / 70s
The ring is in fact decorated with a synthetic spinel of oval cut and characterized by a blue that has some magnetic, and from which it is very difficult to take your eyes off; the stone has also been inserted into a bezel that protrudes slightly from the rest of the setting, so that visually, once the ring is worn, it is higher.
The setting, in 14K yellow gold, is no exception: the stone is in fact held by a structure that has been worked in such a way that it seems to have been engraved with slightly curved grooves and which create an extremely elegant look.
