Vintage 14K gold ring with cabochon emerald and diamonds, 1960s
The ring is quite simple, but all the elements that form it are really special.
First of all it must be said that its decoration develops on a single horizontal line: in the center, predominantly, we find a cabochon-cut emerald (beautiful and which gives a very strong sense of "ancient", of "archaeological"), set inside an oval structure, with very wide edges that make it almost look like an eye and with a satin texture; on each side we find instead two huit-huit cut diamonds, also set in high and very special settings, which almost completely incorporate them.
Finally, the stem is a perfect circle, very thin and which makes everything even more special and fascinating.
