VINTAGE RING IN 14K GOLD WITH SAPPHIRES AND DIAMONDS, 1950s / 1960s
This 50s / 60s band ring is decorated with three rows of stones that run parallel and decorate the ring horizontally.
In all three rows we find the stones positioned "to scale", or in which the central stone is flanked by others that are gradually placed lower and lower.
Specifically, in the center we have a row of brilliant-cut diamonds, flanked above and below by a row of round-cut sapphires; the central row is divided from the two lateral ones by a series of small gold rectangles, which not only act as a decorative element but also as a support for the diamonds, while the sapphires are held by jaws, also in yellow gold.
