Vintage 18K gold ring

When I saw this ring my mind could not help but take me to some exotic, warm ... Arabian place.
The most surprising element of the whole ring is the fact that it was made with only one material, namely 18K yellow gold; therefore there are no stones, and the incredible result you see is given "simply" by the working of the gold.
The shape is that of a shuttle ring, so it is very elongated and, once worn, it will cover a good part of the finger.
Most of the ring is decorated with a section delimited by a smooth bezel, and which seems to be made up of many embroidered floral elements, at the center of which we find a star.
This whole section is surrounded by an external outline made of many small petals, obviously in gold but which also seem embroidered.
Finally on the shoulders we find small circles, which look like twisted ropes arranged in a pyramid; the rest of the stem is embellished with a double row of dots.
