Vintage ring in 18K gold with blue glass paste, 50s / 60s

As soon as I saw this ring I could not help but think of the Arab world: its shape but above all the gold working lead me with the imagination to the oriental world and its fantastic, sinuous and refined shapes.

And here we can find the same: in general the ring has been modeled with the shape of an eye, whose external contours are formed by many small dots.
One of the elements I love most about this ring are the six prongs: these start from the outside and stretch towards the stone with a very strong movement, so much so that they look like the claws of a bird of prey that go to capture the central stone, a blue glass paste.
The rest of the ring is a smooth and perfectly round band.
The whole is in 18K yellow gold.
