Vintage ring in 18K gold with ruby (approx.1.20ct) and diamonds (approx.0.90ct), 1960s

Whoever created this ring certainly wanted to create a jewel that combines two characteristic elements of two truly iconic types of rings: and we are talking about daisy rings and band rings.

We immediately see the reference to the first in the central part, where we can find a wonderful and very rich flower, literally covered with precious stones.
A double outline of diamonds, one more external and one following, decorates most of its surface; diamonds are all brilliant cut and have an estimated total of approx. 0.90ct.
The first round of stones has been inserted inside a really soft outline, which totally follows their curve, while the second is placed in a single, more “linear” and curves free outline.
At the center of it all we find the colored stone, an incredible natural oval cut ruby; estimated to be 1.20ct approx. its color is something truly spectacular (and live, being able to see it in all its shades, really takes your breath away).

The reference to the second type of ring is obviously given by the beautiful thick stem and which therefore stands out: the two shoulders are the predominant part and, once the ring is worn, they will cover a good portion of the sides of the finger, and in general will make it stand out.

The result obtained with this ring I would say that it does not need further words!
