Vintage 18K gold ruby ring, 1950s

This simple and delightful ring is one of those jewels perfect to be worn all day, and which among other things look great on any finger: its small size and simplicity make it extremely versatile, from any point of view.
The two shoulders here create an interesting setting, since instead of stopping at the sides of the central part they continue, extending above and below and creating the structure that holds the central stone, in this case a synthetic round cut ruby.
Its frame is in 18K yellow gold.
