Vintage ring in 18K gold with ruby and diamonds, 1960s

This ring was made with an incredible series of joints between various elements of different geometric shapes, which give life to a ring out of the ordinary.
In the center we find a marquise-cut ruby, positioned horizontally and held by a yellow gold bezel, which protrudes slightly from the setting; on each side we find two huit-huit cut diamonds, inserted in two elements that are reminiscent of two snake heads, or two arrows (in short, a bit what your imagination shows you).
All this central decoration has been inserted inside the ring, which has been "opened" to make room for the stones and the setting.
The rest of the stem is crossed by an internal groove which gives it great depth.
