Vintage 18K gold ring with sapphires (0.50ctw approx.) And diamonds (0.20ctw approx.), 1970s
In this ring the central decoration is characterized by a beautiful illusion: in fact it seems to be formed by two divided elements that barely touch each other; but if you look at it well it is actually made of a single piece, skilfully worked to make it appear that way.
The central part is therefore decorated with two sections that go in opposite directions, as if they were about to detach themselves definitively from each other, and decorated in the same way: a row of sapphires above and a row of diamonds below, arranged parallel .
The round cut sapphires are for an estimated total of approx. 0.50ct, while the huit-huit cut diamonds are for an estimated total of approx. 0.20ct.
The whole setting is in 18K yellow gold, and the stones are highlighted by small claws.
