Vintage 8K gold garnet ring, 1950s

This vintage solitaire is characterized by a simple but very impressive frame and decoration.
In the center we find an oval cut garnet of an enchanting dark red; the stone is held by six prongs, three above and three below, and which emerge from the bottom from a rather high setting.
The stem (smooth) reaches the central part divided into three lines on each side: the shape and softness with which they have been modeled make them look like petals, branches or in any case an element of nature.
The ring dates back to the 1950s and is in 8K yellow gold.
