Vintage 14K gold moonstone ring, 60s / 70s

Looking at this ring, I can't help but think of something extra terrestrial, alien: its frame and its stone in fact convey to me something mysterious and unknown.

Starting from the center, here we find a beautiful moonstone, one of the stones that I find most fascinating (both for its name and for its characteristics); in this case we have a cabochon-cut moonstone, and therefore with a smooth surface, and characterized by this slightly ethereal color, not well defined and which makes us think of the moon (just as its name implies).

The setting absolutely follows the particularity of the stone: it is particularly worked and not absolutely non-trivial, entirely made of 14K gold.

In short, with this ring you will surely have something different, which will definitely catch the eye and will attract many glances but also many curiosities.
