Vintage 14K white gold daisy ring with sapphire and diamonds, 1960s

This 1960s ring is a truly delightful example of a daisy ring: small and fine, it's a piece of jewelry to wear every day and never take off.
In the center we find a round cut sapphire, held by six very high jaws which, if seen in profile, we will see being raised a lot compared to the rest of the ring; the sapphire is estimated to be 0.15ct approx. and has a light blue, tending to blue that I find really wonderful.

Surrounding it we find a very particular frame, made up of six triangles slightly detached from each other and with a curved base, thus softening the outline of the ring. Each triangle is decorated with a huit-huit cut diamond, for an estimated total of approx. 0.06ct.

A mention should be made for the beautiful openwork decoration that we find on the outer edge of the lower part of the frame, which we will be able to particularly appreciate once the ring is worn.
