This wonderful rigid bracelet dates back to the Bourbon period, and more precisely to the end of the nineteenth century, and is entirely made of 12K gold: it has a particular central square decoration, with floral inserts and with two blue and green glass pastes.
The bracelet is worn by learning the two final ends, with a spring mechanism still fully functional and which therefore allows it to be worn rather easily and to make it adaptable to many wrists.
A small interesting detail is the engraving on the back of the central square, where we find written "PAT. JUL.14.85": the first word "PAT.", Which I don't know what it means; the second line clearly indicates a date, written in the American form. What does it mean that this bracelet has reached America to return to Italy? Unfortunately we will never know, but in any case there remains a detail that makes this jewel even more fascinating.
