Vintage 8K gold necklace with 8K gold owl pendant with diamonds, 1980s

This delightful necklace, made in the 1980s, is made up of two elements: a chain and a pendant, both in 8K gold.

The pendant is particularly nice and above all well done: it depicts an owl, seen from the front and perched on a branch with three leaves.
The owl is very well made: the muzzle reveals that seriousness typical of these birds of prey, with even the eyebrows strongly arched downwards; the body is nice round, with its feathers clearly visible; from here the two paws emerge with their claws well bent and stretched to hold firmly to the branch; furthermore, the chest was highlighted as it was embellished with three huit-huit cut diamonds, highlighted by white gold (all the rest is yellow gold).

Finally, the chain has a link that is neither too fine nor too thick, being in fact made up of small rings, linked together; this feature also makes it perfect to be worn alone, without adding any pendant.
