These vintage earrings (from the 70s) are really special jewels, as they hide a secret: at first glance, in fact, they would seem a single pair of earrings but, in reality, the upper part (the one with diamonds) can be detached from the circle of 'gold, thus becoming a second pair, totally independent and wearable alone.
In addition to therefore having two jewels in one, there are two extremely different ones: the first, in fact, is a more important and more striking pair of earrings, formed by a gold circle with a pendant coral button in the center; the upper part, in addition to further decorating the first pair, also forms the second: these are antique patch earrings (from the early 1900s), with a simple setting and adorned with rosette-cut diamonds.
This jewel is a truly unique jewel: two earrings in one, representing two different styles and to be worn on different occasions.
The hoops, frames and clasps (butterfly) are entirely in 18K gold, while the parts surrounding the diamonds are in silver.
