Vintage 18K gold earrings with sapphires and diamonds, 1970s

The shape and colors of these vintage earrings make me think that whoever created them was somehow inspired by the sky: the setting and the position of the stones, which seems almost casual, almost seem to recall the celestial vault at night.
The setting is in 18K gold, and it is wonderful that, being a bit lively, some elements of it appear here and there.
Scattered we find round cut sapphires, of a truly hypnotic deep blue; we also find two huit-huit cut diamonds; on one of the sides we find a "feather" in white gold and decorated with other huit-huit cut diamonds.
