Toi et Moi vintage in 18K gold with sapphire and diamond (0.35ct approx.), 1950s

This vintage ring, made around the 1950s, is an example of Toi et Moi, looking extremely graceful and elegant, from start to finish.
Obviously we find two stones, which represent the concept of "You and I", and in this case we have a sapphire and a diamond: the first is a synthetic sapphire, with a round cut and a bright blue, strong and incisive, which immediately strikes , with hints of light blue towards the bottom; the brilliant cut diamond is estimated to be 0.35ct approx, and its white and brightness create a nice contrast with the blue stone.
The whole is located inside a delicate 18K yellow gold frame, with the slightly moving stem.
The stones, in particular, are held by four claws each, which start from a lower setting, so that they can lean only slightly on the stones and leave them practically free, since they are firmly on the underside.
The ring, with its shape and its colors, has something magical about it, which takes me back in time ... Who knows if who created it was inspired by the famous Toi et Moi that Napoleon Bonaparte gave to Giuseppina.
