Vintage 14K gold solitaire with brilliant cut diamond (0.80ct approx.), 1970s
This solitaire has impressed many of you despite its simplicity; some will probably have fallen in love with it precisely for this characteristic, while others (perhaps) for its setting, rather important and thick, and not trivial, which perfectly frames the diamond.
The latter is a brilliant cut diamond, whose estimated carat is almost 1 carat, and more precisely of 0.80ct approx .; the stone is held by an important setting, which still manages to make it stand out in a magnificent way.
The two shoulders have been cut in a very peculiar way, with the two corners leaving some space for the central part, without it being therefore totally embraced; and I think this too is an element that has allowed this solitaire to stand out particularly.
The frame is made entirely of 14K yellow gold and the ring dates back to the 1970s.
