This vintage brooch, dating back to the 1950s and in 18K gold, was made with extreme skill: in addition to the use of various materials, we find in fact a truly beautiful workmanship and decoration.
In the center we find the design of a flower (shape that characterizes the entire brooch), decorated with a series of garnets: in the center, the largest and round cut, is surrounded by six other drop cut shapes; the seven garnets are inserted in a fretwork decoration, which creates a whole series of floral elements and designs, which cover the entire surface.
This whole central part is then enclosed in three different contours, which recall the flower shape of the entire brooch: more internally we find a border of wonderful blue enamels; in the middle we have instead a golden circle, worked to create a string effect; the last is the actual outline of the brooch, formed by a whole series of garnets, also of round cut.
