Vintage gypsy trilogy in 14K gold with sapphire and diamonds (0.10ctw approx.), 1950s
This ring is an example of what are called "gypsy rings".
Gypsy rings are rings in which the stones are set directly inside the ring, resulting in a jewel in which the setting and the decoration are one.
The result is an extremely wearable ring that is very comfortable to wear.
In this case we have a gypsy trilogy: in the center we have a round cut sapphire and on both sides an old cut diamond, for an estimated total of 0.10ct.
