What you see this evening is a real masterpiece: of materials, jewelery, ingenuity, imagination, everything!
There is also a mystery and a curiosity surrounding this ring!
This is why there is really a lot to say about this jewel ...

First of all I start by saying that it is a converted jewel, since it was originally born as a susta (as the closure of a necklace), which we decided to transform into a ring: the central part is therefore vintage, while the stem is new, specially made to give life to the jewel you see in front of you.

Another element to dwell on is the central stone, the focal point of this ring: it is a tanzanite, a stone with magical, unique and simply beautiful colors!
This tanzanite is oval cut and estimated to be around 3ct!
And, like all these stones, it has this color between blue and purple, a mix that gives life to the nuance you see, and of which I cannot find the words to describe it, it is so beautiful.

The outline is certainly not the classic outline that we find in daisy rings: the tanzanite is touched by a first small round of diamonds, which continue outwards in an alternation of single and double settings, containing respectively one and two diamonds .
These are huit-huit and old cut, for an estimated total of 1ct approx.

Now, the mystery to be solved!

The appearance of the susta in fact tells us that it is an ancient jewel, dating back to the 1930s: the setting is made entirely of platinum, the diamonds are held by bezels, and even its initial appearance seemed that of an ancient jewel .

Tanzanite, however, is a stone recently discovered, in 1967, which should rule out the fact that it is an ancient jewel; and here we have two options.
The first is that the original central stone was another, which was later replaced with this tanzanite.
The second option is instead that it is a vintage jewel, dating back to the 70s ca. and made with an ancient style and with all the stones you see chosen right away.

And since there is no (for the moment 😂 ) tool capable of telling us exactly when a jewel was made, we must admit that this time, with these elements, it is very difficult to say with certainty what era this jewel dates back to.

But as far as I'm concerned it adds even more charm and magic to a jewel that has already had enough of both!

7.9 g

ADDITIONAL INFORMATION :
The stone weights indicated in carats represent approximate weights, taken with the stones set, which can therefore vary slightly.
Given the age and the fact that they are handcrafted jewels (and not in series), our antique and vintage jewels are often not perfect and may show normal signs of surface wear and / or small imperfections, possibly present both on the parts in gold than on stones.
But this is precisely what makes each piece special and unique!
NB: All our jewels are unique pieces, no one is alike! If you like it don't miss it
