Vintage 18K gold ring with rubies and diamonds (0.08ctw approx.), 1970s

This ring is really interesting, as it has been decorated with a row of stones that have been inserted into it; this was made possible by the opening in two of the front part, in which the stones were then inserted.
We find a ruby alternating with a double row of diamonds, alternating with a ruby and a double row of diamonds, and so on.
The diamonds are huit-huit cut for an estimated total of approx. 0.08 ct, while the rubies are round cut.

NB: The sapphire has some superficial signs, consistent with the age of the jewel.

Given the age and the fact that they are handcrafted jewels (and not in series), our antique and vintage jewels are often not perfect and may show normal signs of surface wear and / or small imperfections, possibly present both on the parts in gold than on stones.
