18K white gold necklace with sapphires, opals and diamonds, 1940s
Tonight I propose this particularly beautiful necklace, the result of the union of two pieces.
The necklace consists of two pieces, a pendant and a chain, both very decorated.
Starting from the pendant, the first thing to point out is the cabochon sapphire heart, which decorates the central part; all around we then have a decoration that recalls the shape of the heart, in 18K white gold and embellished with huit-huit cut diamonds.
Connected to this pendant we have a delightful 18K white gold chain decorated with rows of a sapphire and two opals alternating with a single sapphire.
The pendant dates back to the 1940s, while the chain may be a more recent addition.
