Each of these light point earrings is decorated with a fantastic brilliant cut diamond, and they are inserted in a setting that is not essential and simple (as we might expect for this type of jewelry), but complex and elaborate.
Here, in fact, the setting is rather preponderant, becoming themselves part of the decoration: the jaws are long but thin, thus allowing the diamonds to almost complement each other; between the disc on which the butterfly rests once worn and the jaws, we find another frame worked in the shape of a star.
The characteristics of the two diamonds are estimated by us, and reflect the beauty of these earrings: they are in fact (as mentioned) two brilliant-cut diamonds, for a total of 0.35ct, with G color and VS clarity.
The frame is made entirely of white gold and the earrings date back to the 1960s.
